I believe in the life-changing power of stories, strong communities, and finding joy wherever you can. I have a demonstrated history of successful community management,  on-call emergency response for high level situations including mental health, curriculum building, student development, and mentorship. My special projects have almost always centered diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging within residential life/higher education and/or libraries of various kinds. 

As a queer latinx woman, I bring a unique perspective to every team I am a part of. I care about community, stories, and EDI in the library/publishing field and in higher education. I am committed to changing systems that aren't serving our communities well. I have had a dual career in the libraries field and in housing/residential life.
